NTPC Recruitment 2025 | Eligibility Criteria
(i) Age Restrictions:
- Maximum age is 40 years as of 09th-June-2025.
- Relaxation in age will be given to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India rules.
(ii) Educational Qualifications:
- Deputy Manager (Electrical): Must have a B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institution.
- Deputy Manager (Mechanical): Must have a B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical or Production with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institution.
- Deputy Manager (C&I): Must have a B.E. or B.Tech in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, or Instrumentation with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institution.
(iii) Experience:
- At least 10 years of experience after qualification (including training) in the power sector (Coal, Gas, Lignite). This experience should be in Operation, Maintenance, Commissioning, Erection, Engineering or a mix of these in a power plant or project of 200 MW or more.
- For candidates from Government or PSU: Must have at least 2 years of experience in a pay scale of Rs. 60,000-1,80,000 (E3 grade or above- starting from 1st-Jan-2017) or similar in CDA scale (Rs. 15,600.00-39,100.00 with Grade Pay Rs. 6,600.00 before revision).

(i). Initially applications will be checked to see if they meet the rules and qualify the experience criteria.
(ii). Candidates who are selected will be called for a personal interview.
(iii). The final selection will depend on how well the interview goes and the documents/ certificates provided.

- Rs. 400/- for OBC, BC, MBC, SC, and ST candidates.
