About UPPRPB

UPPRPB means Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. It was formed by the Uttar Pradesh government in the year 2008.

This board works independently and looks after recruitment and promotions for non-gazetted posts in the Uttar Pradesh Police and related departments such as the prison department.

Its main role is to conduct exams in a fair and clear manner, select suitable candidates for posts like constable and other positions and handle promotions properly so that deserving candidates get selected without bias.

UPPRPB Recruitment 2026

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has issued an official notice for direct recruitment of Computer Operator (Grade-A) posts under Advertisement No. PRPB-B (Computer Operator Grade-A)–21/2025.

A total of 1352 posts are available. This recruitment is open to candidates who have passed Intermediate with Science subjects and have the required computer qualifications.

Online application forms can be filled from 16th-Dec-2025 through the official UPPRPB website. The last date to complete registration and pay the application fee is 15th-Jan-2026.

• The minimum age required is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 28 years as on 01st-July-2025.

• Candidates born between 01st-July-1997 and 01st-July-2007 can apply.

•  Age relaxation will be given according to Uttar Pradesh government rules.

 

UPPRPB Recruitment 2026 | Eligibility Criteria

• Intermediate (10+2) passed with Physics and Mathematics subjects.

•  ‘O’ Level certificate from DOEACC/NIELIT or a Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or Electronics Engineering.

• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.
