Indian Bank SO Recruitment 2024 | Selection Process
Two methods may be used in the selection process for Indian Bank Specialist Officer (SO) posts, depending on the volume of applicants. The bank has two options: conducting a written/online exam and then interviewing the shortlisted candidates, or the opposite.
The number of candidates called upon for interviews is normally three times the number of openings in unreserved categories and five times in reserved categories, however the exact ratio may change depending on the specification. A minimum of 40% for unreserved/EWS candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates are required for the interview, which carries 100 marks. Test scores account for 80% of the final merit listing, while interview scores account for 20%. Age seniority is used to break ties.
Indian Bank SO Recruitment 2024 | Application Process
Candidates may use the Indian Bank website to submit an online application between June 29, 2024, and July 14, 2024. To register, go to the Bank’s career page, choose “Engagement of Specialists on Contractual Basis – 2024,” and provide some basic information. This will create a temporary registration number and password.
Candidates can use the “Save and Next” option on the application form to save their work and double-check all the information before submitting it in its final form. Once submitted, changes cannot be made. Scan copies of the handwritten declaration, signature, left thumb impression (if appropriate), and photo are required submissions. Upon making a successful payment, applicants will receive an electronic receipt and should save a printout of their application for their records.
