Former foreign minister of Bangladesh has been arrested.
Former Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmood and State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak were arrested at the airport in Dhaka while trying to leave the nation. While traveling to Delhi, Mahmood was arrested at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. According to media reports, he had attempted to escape to India via a land port in earlier days but was chased back. Mahmood had a position in the ousted Hasina administration.

Bangladesh – impacted by foreign forces : Former High Commissioner
Former Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pinak Ranjan Chakraborty discussed the current political situation in Bangladesh, pointing out that the nation has had crises in the past driven on by both domestic and outside factors. Vistara Airlines will resume services from tomorrow to Dhaka
Tata Group’s Vistara airline will begin operating two daily flights to Dhaka- Bangladesh, offering relief to residents and visitors amidst the country’s political violence . Services will include flights between Dhaka and Mumbai, Delhi and Dhaka on Wednesday as per the airline’s schedule.

The president meets with student movement leaders.
Leaders of the student movement met with Bangladesh’s President, Muhammad Shahabuddin, in Bangabhaban to talk about the present state of circumstances and the formation of an interim government.
According to a local newspaper, the meeting started on Tuesday night. Thirteen members of the opposing student movement also had similar conversations with the president and heads of the armed forces.

Maharashtra government in action to rescue the students trapped in Bangladesh
Officials from the Maharashtra government are trying to rescue around twenty of their state’s students who are stuck in Bangladesh. The Ministry of External Affairs has received the students’ information for support. To ensure the students’ safe return, the government is working with the families and the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh. An immediate action plan has been requested by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Junaid Ahmed Palak former IT minister as been arrested
As per the local news paper, Former State Minister Junaid Ahmed Palak of Bangladesh has been arrested by authorities at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport along with his two aides during an attempt to escape through a plane.
