Permanent Commission in the Army will be awarded post Completion of 4 years of two phases—Integrated Basic Military Training and Engineering Training.
Indian Army Recruitment 2024 | Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Candidates must be single male, Indian resident.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between the ages of 16.5 and 19.5 years which means they must have been born between January 2, 2006, and January 1, 2009, both dates are inclusive.
- Percentages and Subject: Applicants must have graduated from recognized boards with at least a 60% aggregate PCM score in the 10+2 examination.
- Other Criteria: Applicants need to have taken the JEE (Main) 2024 test.

Indian Army Recruitment 2024 | Selection Process
The process of selecting consists of:
- First Step: The shortlisting procedure of Applications: Applicants will be ranked for further consideration based on their cut-off scores.
- Second Step: SSB Assessment: Only those who have been shortlisted will go through the SSB interview at specified locations, which will be followed by a medical assessment too.
- Third Step – Medical Assessment: joining letters will be awarded to the candidates who have been declared medically fit and approved by the SSB .
