On 16th-Aug-2025, LIC issued a notification for 81 Assistant Engineer openings. These openings are under the Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Specialist cadre in the Civil and Electrical engineering streams.

LIC Recruitment 2025 | Age Restrictions

Applicants must be at least 21 years old and not older than 30 years as of 1st-Aug-2025.

This refers that birth dates should fall between 2nd-Aug-1995 and 1st-Aug-2004.

Age relaxations:
(i). 5 years for SC/ST
(ii). 3 years for OBC
(iii). 10 years for PwBD candidates.

 

LIC Recruitment 2025 | Salary Details

The basic pay starts at Rs. 88,635 per month with increments leading up to Rs. 1,69,025. Including allowances.
The total monthly salary comes to about Rs. 1,26,000 in a metropolitan city.

 

LIC Recruitment 2025 | Educational Qualification

(i). AE (Civil): B.E. or B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from an AICTE-recognized university or institution.

(ii). AE (Electrical): B.E. or B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized university or institution.

Note: In addition, at least 3 years of professional experience in planning and executing multi storey building projects with supporting infrastructure is required.

(ii). All other categories: Rs. 700 + GST + transaction charges

LIC Recruitment 2025 | Application Procedure

As stated above online registration for LIC AAO AE Recruitment 2025 is open from 16th-Aug-2025 to 8th-Sept-2025.
During the application process the following must be uploaded:

(i).Recent passport size photograph (Size: 4.5 cm × 3.5 cm)

(ii). Signature Should be in black color

(iii). Left thumb impression on white paper should be in black or blue color

(iv). Handwritten declaration on white paper should be in black color
