The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is an important statutory body formed by the Government of India under the National Highways Authority of India Act 1988. It has been functioning since 1995 with the primary responsibility of developing, upgrading, maintaining and managing the country’s national highways network.
The organization works under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and plays a central role in implementing highway development projects across India.

NHAI AI Engineer Recruitment 2025 | Eligibility Criteria
- Senior AI Engineer : Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a Quantitative field such as Statistics/Economics with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- AI Engineer : Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a Quantitative field such as Statistics/Economics with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Associate AI Engineer : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or other quantitative fields such as Economics/Statistics.
- Full Stack Engineer : Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- AI Product Designer : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, Arts, Service Design, System Design, Management, Business, Product, Engineering, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Associate AI Product Designer : Final semester student or degree holder of Bachelor’s/Master’s in Design, HCI, Visual Communication, Arts, Service Design, System Design, Management, Business, Product, Engineering, or related fields.

- Senior AI Engineer : Rs. 2,50,000 per month
- AI Engineer : Rs. 2,00,000 per month
- Associate AI Engineer : Rs. 50,000 per month (During Internship) and Rs. 1,50,000 per month (full-time)
- Full Stack Engineer : Rs. 1,75,000 per month
- AI Product Designer : Rs. 1,75,000 per month
- Associate AI Product Designer : Rs. 50,000 per month (During Internship) and Rs. 1,30,000 per month (full-time)
