LPG Subsidy – कैसे मिलता है Free या Subsidised Gas Cylinder

स्वच्छ रसोई गैस (LPG) हर घर की basic जरूरत होती है लेकिन बहुत से निर्धन या low income परिवार traditional ईंधनों (wood, coal आदि) पर depend रहते थे जिससे health issues, pollution और बहुत सी असुविधा होती थी

इसी समस्या को ध्यान में रखते हुए सरकार ने समय-समय पर free या Subsidised cylinder देने की योजनाएं चलाई हैं जिसे आमतौर पर “PM Free Cylinder Scheme” कहा जाता है।

अगर समझें तो यह स्कीम एक fixed “Free Cylinder” योजना नहीं है बल्कि निर्धन या BPL परिवारों या benefit-eligible households को LPG subsidy + deposit-free connection और समय-समय पर Subsidised refill देने वाली योजना है।

PM Free Cylinder or Subsidy क्या है?

भारत की सबसे प्रमुख scheme जो इससे जुड़ी है वह है Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) जिससे निर्धन परिवारों को deposit-free LPG connection देने, safety equipment, regulator, hose आदि मुहैया कराने के लिए बनाया गया था।

PMUY के तहत eligible households को नया LPG cylinder connection free मिलता है यानी cylinder, pressure regulator, hose, installation आदि की cost सरकार या oil marketing companies ही उठाती हैं।

इसके अलावा 2022 में सरकार ने refill पर subsidy देने की शुरुआत की जिसे 2023 के बाद बढ़ाकर Rs. 300 प्रति cylinder कर दिया गया है यह subsidy साल में कुछ refills तक benefit holders को मिलती है।

 

कौन eligible है

Free or Subsidised LPG cylinder पाने के लिए निम्न conditions होती हैं

• Family को low-income / BPL या लाभार्थी eligible होना चाहिए

• पहले से कोई भी LPG का domestic connection नहीं होना चाहिए

• Applicant महिला ही होनी चाहिए (PMUY में) और deprivation declaration देना होता है

• Safety एवं installation cost free होती है जिसमे कोई भी upfront security deposit नहीं देना पड़ता

 

Free or Subsidised Cylinder कैसे मिलता है?

इस तरह benefit मिलता है

• नया LPG connection के समय cylinder, regulator, hose, installation सब free होता है

• पहली refill + hotplate (कुछ revisions में) free या subsidised मिल सकती है

• फिर आगे जो cylinder refill करना हो उस पर subsidy मिलती है उदाहरण के तौर पर प्रति refill Rs. 300 subsidy (2023 onward) for eligible families

• Subsidy सीधे बैंक account में DBT (direct benefit transfer) के माध्यम से credited होती है

 

Free Cylinder or Subsidy scheme के फायदे

• Traditional fuels (wood, coal) से छुटकारा: ऐसा cooking fuel जो safe, clean और smoke-free हो

• Health benefits: Smoke से होने वाली respiratory या other health issues कम होती हैं

• Financial saving: Connection और initial cost free होने से low-income परिवारों को राहत मिलती है

• Budget friendly cooking fuel: Subsidised refill से रोजमर्रा की cooking affordable होती है

• Time saving: लकड़ी/ coal collect करने या जलाने में खर्च होने वाला समय बचता है। जिस समय को education, work या other productive कामों में उपयोग किया जा सकता है

• Women empowerment: cooking और kitchen related responsibilities safe and dignified तरीके से होती हैं

 

क्या Free Cylinder scheme हर साल रहेगी?

सरकार समय-समय पर subsidy policy और refill subsidy rate revise करती है उदाहरण के लिए 2023 में subsidy Rs. 200 से बढ़ाकर Rs. 300 per cylinder हुआ।

लेकिन subsidy continuation, Number of Subsidised refills या free refill offer states के decision पर depend करता है इसलिए eligible परिवारों को latest notification ध्यान से देखना चाहिए।

जरूरी बातें

• पहले से LPG connection ना होना चाहिए

• Aadhaar और bank account registration जरूरी है

• Refill subsidy पाने के लिए दिए गए terms & eligibility maintain करना होगा

• Migrant families के लिए address proof/ self-declaration जरूरी हो सकता है कई revisions में यह सुविधा दी गई है

• Subsidy amount सीधे बैंक account में आएगा यानी subsidy claim या offline refund नहीं

“PM Free Cylinder Scheme” यानी free or subsidised LPG cylinder व refill subsidy, निर्धन व low-income परिवारों के लिए बहुत बड़ी राहत है।

Traditional fuels से निकलने वाला smoke, wood-coal की परेशानी और health risks से छुटकारा मिलता है साथ ही safe cooking, saving, और environmental benefit भी मिलता है।
