Raid 2 which is directed by Rajkumar Gupta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Krishna Kumar and Kumar Mangat Pathak is expected for release on 21-Feb-2025.

Raid 2 will cover a real case from the publications and honor the “unsung heroes of the Income Tax Department.” Rajat Kapoor and Vaani Kapoor will also play significant roles in Raid2.

Raj Kumar Gupta who also directed the first part, is directing this film too in which Riteish Deshmukh plays the person of opposition. Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak are supporting the sequel under the respective labels of T-Series and Panorama Studios.

In addition to Ajay Devgn, if we focus on the film stars Rajat Kapoor, he is playing an important role, Ritesh Deshmukh as the antagonist and Vaani Kapoor as the female lead.

Good News for Lucknow and Delhi public

Raid 2 which was mostly filmed in Delhi and Lucknow that promises to be an even more exciting experience.

The first part of RAID was based on the actual event of income-tax raid on Sardar Inder Singh in the 1980s which marked above all others as the longest raid in Indian history at three days and two nights,

The filmmakers of Raid 2 are Krishan Kumar, Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Bhushan Kumar. The film which was produced by Panorama Studios is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series.

The makers announced the release date with a post on social media.

The movie was originally intended for release on November 15 of this year. The date has been moved to February 21, 2025.

Riteish Deshmukh is essaying the role of the antagonist in the movie, which is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, who also helmed the first part.

The sequel is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under their banners T-Series and Panorama Studios, respectively.
