SEBI Recruitment 2025

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has announced the Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Recruitments. Applications have been invited from Indian citizens for several streams, including General, Legal, Information Technology, Research, Official Language, Engineering (Electrical) and Engineering (Civil).

SEBI has the complete authority to decide whether to fill the announced vacancies or keep them vacant. This recruitment provides a valuable chance for qualified and deserving candidates to become part of SEBI and contribute in different professional areas.

The official notification was issued on 8th-Oct-2025 and the online application form will be available from 30th-Oct-2025.

SEBI Recruitment 2025 | Eligibility Criteria

The required educational qualifications for different streams are as follows:

(i) General Stream
Master’s Degree or Post Graduate Diploma (minimum two years) in any discipline or a Bachelor’s Degree in Law or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

(ii) Legal Stream : Bachelor’s Degree in Law.

(iii) Information Technology Stream : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in any branch or a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline along with a two year postgraduate qualification in Computer Science, Computer Application or Information Technology.

(iv) Research Stream : Master’s Degree or a two year Postgraduate Diploma in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Business Administration or any related subject from a recognized university or institute.

(v) Official Language Stream : Master’s Degree in Hindi or Hindi Translation with English as a subject at the Bachelor’s level or Master’s Degree in Sanskrit, English, Economics or Commerce with Hindi as a subject at the Bachelor’s level or Master’s Degree in both English and Hindi or Hindi Translation.

(vi) Engineering (Electrical) Stream : Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

(vii) Engineering (Civil) Stream : Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.

SEBI Recruitment 2025 | Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 30 years as on 30th-Sep-2025, meaning candidates should be born on or after 1st-Oct-1995.

Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided as per the rules set by the Government of India for different categories.

Unreserved / OBC / EWS: Rs. 1000/- + 18% GST
SC / ST / PwBD: Rs. 100/- + 18% GST

Note: The payment of fees can be made through any online payment method mentioned in the official notification.

 

SEBI Recruitment 2025 | Examination Pattern

The recruitment examination will consist of two written papers.

(i). Paper 1:

Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Subjects: General Awareness (including questions from the financial sector), English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability

Maximum Marks: 100

(ii). Paper 2:

Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

Subjects: Questions related to the specific stream chosen by the candidate

Maximum Marks: 100

 

SEBI Recruitment 2025 | Selection Procedure

The selection procedure will be carried out in three phases which are as follows:

(i). Phase I: Online Examination

(ii). Phase II: Online Examination

(iii). Phase III: Interview

Note: Only candidates who qualify in each phase will move forward to the next round.

Applications for SEBI Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Recruitment 2025 will be accepted only through the official SEBI Recruitment Portal. The process of online registration includes the following steps.

Step 1: Submit the online application form through SEBI’s official website starting from 30th-Oct-2025.

Step 2: Upload a recent colour photograph, signature and all required certificates such as date of birth proof and educational qualification documents.

Step 3: Pay the applicable application fee using the online payment Process and submit the form before the closing date mentioned in the Advertisement.
