In order to verify adherence and check against traffic violations, artificial intelligence is projected to be deployed. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari stated that the government is going to track for traffic violations and make sure that penalties are imposed appropriately by using artificial intelligence and other innovative methods.

At the 12th Traffic InfraTech Expo on Thursday, Nitin Gadkari highlighted plans of upgrading toll collecting systems. The fresh, innovative strategy involves exploring satellite toll systems in order to enhance efficiency and ensure transparency in toll collecting. Nitin Gadkari said, “A specialized expert committee will evaluate proposals from entrepreneurs and business leaders to ensuring that the best ideas are implemented”.
In his speech at the Expo, Gadkari said that using modern technologies like artificial intelligence (AI), implementing the law, and integrating advanced technical solutions are all essential for ensuring road safety.

According to him, the government chose to hire private sector professionals to work with them on creating technological solutions. Nitin Gadkari stated that the organization requires to bring about rapid improvements in the industry and hopes to conclude its assessments within three months.

He also claimed that the government will not compromise its high standards of quality, no matter whether major or small companies provide the solution. The Road Transport and Highways Minister additionally encouraged small businesses especially those with modern technology, to take part in government proposals.
Nitin Gadkari emphasised the need to improve road safety and further stated that Bharat can use the most significant technology to create transparency so that expenses can be reduced and can greatly improve road safety.

In spite of worrying road accident information- he highlighted that there are about 5 lakh accidents are reported in Bharat each year. As a result several deaths are reported every year, particularly among those who were 18 to 36.
He also acknowledged that roughly 3 percent of the nation’s GDP is lost financially as a result of traffic accidents.
