In India, the National Investigation Agency is a specialist law enforcement body that targets terrorism. By formal declaration from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the agency is authorized to handle the investigation of terror-related crimes throughout the states without the need for specific approval from the states.
Through deputation or absorption, the Agency in India is hiring for the jobs of Public Prosecutor and Senior Public Prosecutor.
There are two positions for public prosecutors and three for senior public prosecutors, each with competitive salary ranges. The NIA website lists certain educational and experience requirements that candidates must satisfy.

Recruitment 2024 | How to Apply
To apply for the Senior Public Prosecutor and Public Prosecutor positions at the National Investigation Agency in India, interested candidates should download the application form from the official website and fill it out completely.
The application must be accompanied by necessary documents including a bio-data in the prescribed format (Annexure-II),
- Educational certificates,
- Cadre clearance certificates,
- Attested copies of the APAR dossier from 2018-19 to 2022-23,
- Vigilance Clearance Certificate,
- Integrity Certificate,
- and details of penalties imposed (if any) in the last 10 years.
