On 18-Feb-1989 Oil India Limited originally known as Oil India Private Limited and it was established as a private limited corporation. Exploration and production of crude oil was the primary goal of the corporation when it was founded.

Beginning on 4th-May-1961, the firm was renamed Oil India Ltd. from Oil India Pvt Ltd.

Oil India Limited (OIL) is a central public sector undertaking engaged in the business of exploration, development and production of crude oil and natural gas, transportation of crude oil and production of liquid petroleum gas.

The central public sector undertaking is a Maharatna, with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas overseeing its operations. Headquartered in Duliajan, Assam, the company has its offices in Duliajan, Noida, Guwahati and Jodhpur.

Oil India Chemist-Fields Recruitment 2024

In Duliajan, Assam, Oil India Limited (OIL) is hiring chemist-fields at field headquarters. This positions are on contractual basis for immediate engagement at Field Headquarters.

Candidates with a Master’s degree and at least two years of related work experience are welcome to submit applications.

Candidates who selected will get a salary of Rs. 70,000 a month.

Candidates must satisfy the following requirements in order to be evaluated for the Contractual Mechanical Engineer post.

(i). Qualification: A Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized college

(ii). Experience: Two years or more of relevant mechanical engineering experience.

(iii). Age Limit: Minimum 24 Years and Maximum age: 50 years (as of the interview date).
