About 84 percent of India’s natural gas production and 70 percent of its crude oil production come from it.
The Government of India controls ONGC, which is run by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas and has its headquarters in Delhi.
The Government of India founded it on 14th-Aug-1956. In Nov-2010 ONGC was awarded Maharatna status by the Indian government.

ONGC Recruitment 2024

There are two Civil/Structural Engineering positions available for contractual consulting at the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation’s (ONGC) Cauvery Asset in Karaikal.

There are multiple positions with different qualifications and experience requirements as follows-

(i). Consultant
(ii). Associate Consultant
(iii). Junior Consultant

Candidates must be younger than sixty-three and have at least five years of experience supervising civil works projects.

ONGC Recruitment 2024 | Eligibility Criteria

Requirement: The candidate needs to have a degree or diploma in structural or civil engineering from an institution approved by the central government.

• Experience: Candidates must have managed or supervised civil works for at least five years.
• Age Criteria: Age must be 63 years or younger.

ONGC Recruitment 2024 | Process of Selection

(i). Online Test: All applicants must first complete an online test (maximum of 80 marks) covering a number of relevant subjects.
(ii). Personal Interview: Candidates will be invited for a personal interview (maximum of 20 marks) if they get the minimum number of required marks on the online exam.
