Under the Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II), the State Bank of India (SBI) is hiring 150 Trade Finance Officers as Specialist Officers (SO).

Candidates for the role of Trade Finance Officer at SBI SO Recruitment 2024 must be degrees in any field from an accredited university and hold an IIBF Forex certificate. A Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialists (CDCS) or certificates in International Banking or Trade Finance are preferred credentials. The applicant’s age range is 23 to 32 years old.

The selection process for the State Bank of India (SBI) Specialist Officer (SO) Trade Finance Officer position involves several stages.
(i). Shortlisting Phase: There is a shortlisting stage during which applicants who satisfy the minimal educational and professional criteria are taken into consideration. Meeting these requirements does not, however, ensure a call for an interview. The criteria for selecting applicants for a shortlist are set by a shortlisting committee. Candidates move on to the interview phase after being shortlisted.
(ii). Interview Phase: The bank determines the qualifying marks for the interview, which carries a maximum of 100 marks. It’s crucial to remember that the bank has the last say on the qualifying marks, and no contact will be accepted on the subject.
(iii). Merit List: Based on the results of the interviews, a merit list is created thereafter. When more than one candidate has the same score at the cutoff, the candidates are sorted according to age, with the older candidates being placed higher.
