About Delhi Jal Board (DJB)
The Delhi Jal Board (DJB) is a public organization under the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. It is responsible for producing, supplying and distributing clean drinking water, along with treating and managing wastewater across the city.
The Board was officially established on 6th-Apt-1998, under the Delhi Water Board Act 1998, after replacing the former Delhi Water Supply and Sewage Disposal Undertaking.
DJB operates a wide network of water treatment plants, booster pumping stations and pipelines to ensure regular water supply to the residents of Delhi.

The Delhi Jal Board New Delhi has announced the Consultant Recruitment 2025–26 for retired government officials. Applications are invited from experienced and qualified candidates for the positions of Chief Consultant (Technical), Senior Consultant (Technical) and Consultant (Technical) on a contractual basis.

A total of 60 vacancies are available in different categories as mentioned below:
(i). Chief Consultant (Technical): 10 Posts
(ii). Senior Consultant (Technical): 20 Posts
(iii). Consultant (Technical): 30 Posts
Delhi Jal Board Recruitment 2025 | Eligibility Criteria
(i). Must hold an Engineering Degree in a relevant field.
(ii). Should be a retired government engineer from the Central or State Government, Union Territories, recognized research institutions, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), semi-government bodies, autonomous organizations or statutory institutions.
